인물소개

연세대학교 언론홍보영상학부 교수다. 전공 분야는 미디어 사회이론이다. 디지털 미디어, 도시 커뮤니케이션, 위험사회 관련 주제의 연구를 한다. 연세대학교 Urban Communication Center 센터장, Urban Communication Lab 책임교수, 국제 조직 Urban Communication Foundation의 이사다. 주요 저서로 『The Candlelight Movement, Democracy and Communication in Korea』(2021), 『The Communication Ecology in the 21st Century Urban Communities』(2018), 『미디어와 공동체』(2018), 『뉴미디어와 이주민』(2020), 『논문, 쓰다』(2020) 등이 있다.
